Matas Backs Clinton

It's official. Unknown and otherwise unimportant, Eric Matas, citizen of Minneapolis, Minnesota has officially announced his support and backing for Senator Hillary Clinton for President of the United States of America.

Mr. Matas made his announcement at his Minneapolis home to a small group — literally quite small: both his children are under 4 feet tall.  Neither child had any comments or questions, and the impromptu press conference ended before this hereto for non-political 30-something entrepreneur and educator could explain his choice.

Despite the departure of his audience, Matas cited many reasons why he supports Clinton. He mentioned her experience and vision. Then he mentioned that the 2008 race was full of very good candidates but that Senator Clinton offered something more than the rest. As a woman, Clinton is a competent politician and also an opportunity for America to shed some of its less than proud past. It's about feminism, and it's not about feminism. America deserves this opportunity and should not pass up the chance.

Now is the time to elect a woman to the presidency. After all, it's not just electing a woman — it's electing a hard-working, capable leader who is ready for the job.

To further add to the excitement, Mr. Matas announced his candidacy for Vice President of the United States. If anyone knows Senator Clinton, please let her know. Matas could be the ideal running mate in this potentially close race since he is sure to attract the independent vote as well as the 47 people who read this blog.
